Adidas launches a new collection of Moroccan-style t-shirts

A new collection of t-shirts with a Moroccan touch was launched on Wednesday in Rabat, as part of an agreement concluded between the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication and the Adidas company.

This initiative aims to pay tribute to Moroccan artisans and to recognize the richness of Moroccan cultural heritage, in the face of attempts to pirate this heritage, indicates a press release from the ministry.

Negotiations with Adidas resulted in the creation of a collection of t-shirts bearing the names of Moroccan cities and highlighting the artistic history of the Kingdom, with a particular homage to traditional artisans.

Indeed, a group of women from traditional craft cooperatives will participate in this initiative, and during the next stage, the t-shirts will be decorated with “tarz Rbati” and “Boucherouit” motifs, specifies the same source. , noting that t-shirts featuring heritage and architectural paintings from Morocco will go on sale tomorrow in Adidas stores in Morocco and will then be extended to the brand’s other stores around the world.

It should be noted that this collection is the result of a legal agreement concluded between the Ministry of Culture and the Adidas company, after months of negotiations, under which a group of Moroccan cooperatives and artisans will benefit from financial benefits. in return for their contribution to the design of the t-shirts, concludes the press release.
