The 82-year-old actor’s representative confirmed to NBC News that Al Pacino and Noor Alfallah are expecting their first child together, following the initial report by TMZ.
Alfallah, who is currently 29 years old, is in her eighth month of pregnancy with the renowned “Scarface” actor’s fourth child. The couple’s romantic involvement began in April 2022, when they were captured leaving Felix Restaurant in Venice, California.
In April of this year, Alfallah posted a picture on her Instagram account featuring her and Pacino at the Gagosian art gallery in New York City, attending an exhibition by one of her friends. Prior to her relationship with Pacino, Alfallah had dated Mick Jagger from 2017 to 2018, according to E! Online.
Al Pacino is also a father to his 33-year-old daughter, Julie Marie, whom he shares with his former girlfriend, Jan Tarrant. Additionally, he has 22-year-old twins named Anton and Olivia with his ex-partner, Beverly D’Angelo.
In a 2014 interview with The New Yorker, Pacino revealed his determination not to replicate his father’s behavior, as his father had left the family when Pacino was only 2 years old.
“Having children has made a significant difference. I was consciously aware that I didn’t want to become like my father. I desired to be present. I have three children, and I have a responsibility towards them. I am an integral part of their lives,” Pacino expressed. He further stated that being away from his children was distressing for both him and them.
“That’s a part of my overall perspective, and I gain a lot from it. It takes me out of my own self,” he added.
The news of Al Pacino’s impending fatherhood coincides with his longtime friend and former co-star Robert De Niro also welcoming another child. The internet was divided on whether a young Pacino or De Niro possessed more allure.
The 79-year-old actor casually mentioned that he had become a father of seven during an interview with Entertainment Tonight Canada.
“I recently had a baby,” the “Taxi Driver” star revealed, opting not to provide further details. De Niro’s representative later confirmed the news to TODAY.com on May 9.
On the same day, De Niro discussed fatherhood tips during an interview with “Access Hollywood.”
“At times, I don’t believe people truly understand what it means to be a good father,” he remarked before swiftly adding, “Well, they do. You know you have your responsibilities.”
“But you see, it’s a mystery. It brings about a lot of excitement, yet it’s also daunting. You simply do your best,” he concluded.
