Amman: Mr. Akhannouch represents HM the King at the high-level international conference on urgent humanitarian aid to Gaza – Media7

Dead Sea (Jordan) – The head of government, Aziz Akhannouch, arrived Tuesday in Amman to represent HM King Mohammed VI at the high-level international conference on the urgent humanitarian response to Gaza, which is being held in the region of the Dead Sea (40 km south of Amman).

Titled “Call for Action: Urgent Humanitarian Assistance for Gaza”, the conference, jointly organized by Jordan, Egypt and the United Nations, aims to identify ways to strengthen the international community’s response to the humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip.

This conference is marked by the presence in particular of the Secretary General of the UN, António Guterres, and heads of state and/or government of more than 75 countries, as well as representatives of humanitarian organizations and international financial institutions .
