Rabat – The operation of submitting new registration applications for the annual revision of the general electoral lists for 2024 is open until December 31, 2023, a press release from the Minister of the Interior announced on Friday.
“In anticipation of the annual revision operation of the general electoral lists for the year 2024, the Minister of the Interior reminds citizens not yet registered on the said lists, meeting the legal conditions and aged at least 18 years of age or expected to reach this age on March 31, 2024, that the operation of submitting new applications for registration on the said lists is open until December 31, 2023,” indicates the press release.
Concerned citizens are asked to submit their requests directly to the offices of the local administrative authority to which their place of residence falls or via the site “www.listeselectorales.ma”, underlines the same source.
Likewise, adds the press release, citizens who have changed their place of residence must submit, within the same deadline, their requests for transfer of registration to the electoral list of the municipality or district to which their new place of residence falls. .
Concerning citizens registered on these lists, who have changed their place of residence in the same municipality or the same district, they must, within the same period, inform the administrative authority responsible for their new place of residence in order to update their address in the electoral list of the municipality or district concerned.
Furthermore, voters registered on the general electoral lists can check their personal data contained in these lists by sending an SMS to the free number 2727, the press release concludes.
