Arab summit: Morocco’s Govt. Head Holds Talks with Iraqi President

Manama – Morocco’s Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch held, here Wednesday, talks with Iraqi President, His Excellency Abdel Latif Jamal Rachid, on the sidelines of the Arab summit, held in Bahrain.

During this meeting, attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, both parties hailed the excellence of Moroccan-Iraqi relations and examined the ways to further promote them in various areas.

The two parties expressed the wish to further reinforce bilateral relations to meet the expectations of the heads of State of the two countries, His Majesty King Mohammed VI and Iraqi President, His Excellency Abdel Latif Jamal Rachid.

Akhannouch arrived earlier Wednesday in the Bahraini capital to represent His Majesty King Mohammed VI at the 33rd Summit of the Arab League Council.
