Bomb Alert: An MRE Arrested at Fez Airport

A Moroccan living abroad (MRE), working in Belgium, was placed in police custody by order of the public prosecutor at the Fez Court of Appeal. The individual is accused of disrupting a flight by reporting the presence of a bomb and issuing threats that could affect the safety of the plane in flight.

On the day of the incident, the MRE was to board for Belgium. Having missed the scheduled time, he was refused access to the runway, which provoked his anger and a conflict with an airport employee, according to the daily “Al Massae” in its Monday edition.
