Charlie Kirk’s memorial service: Date, time livestream details, list of speakers

Assassinated US activist Charlie Kirk’s public memorial service will be held in Arizona on Sunday morning. Kirk, a conservative leader and a key ally of President Donald Trump, was shot dead at a public rally in Utah last week.

Security has been beefed up around the venue where the memorial service is likely to be attended by more than 100,000 people. “Expect TSA-level screening,” Kirk’s NGO Turning Point USA (TPUSA), organiser of the event, said on its website. “Please be advised that enhanced security measures are in place, which may result in longer wait times than usual.”

When and where will the memorial be held?

Kirk’s memorial service will be held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale in Arizona on Sunday at 11 am (GMT-7). The doors will be opened at 8am (GMT-7), according to the TPUSA website. While the parking is free, TPUSA encouraged attendees to car pool.

Who all can attend the memorial?

The entry to memorial service is free and based on first come, first served based depending upon on the capacity of the stadium. In view of tight security measures, TPUSA has said that no bags will be allowed inside the venue. “Guests arriving with bags, even clear bags, will NOT be permitted entry. You will be required to return the bag to your vehicle and rejoin the line from the end,” it said.

Will the event be livestreamed?

Kirk’s memorial service will be livestreamed on his Rumble account. News outlets such as Fox News and ABC News Live will broadcast the event.

Will Trump attend the event?

President Trump, Vice President JD Vance and Kirk’s widow Erika Kirk are expected to speak at the at the memorial service for Kirk who was an influential conservative leader. Other top US officials are likely to attend the event include White House chief of staff Susie Wiles, Secretary Marco Rubio, Secretary Robert f. Kennedy Jr., Secretary Pete Hegseth, Director Tulsi Gabbard, Donald Trump Jr.,Tucker Carlson, Stephen Miller.

Charlie Kirk was shot dead by a sniper on September 10 while he interacting with students at a university in Utah. Charlie Kirk was answering a question on gun violence when he was shot.

Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old man from Utah, was arrested as suspect in Kirk’s assassination. Officials made the announcement of Tyler Robinson being in custody on September 12.

Tyler Robinson has been charged with killing Kirk and faces the death penalty if convicted of the most serious charges
