Creation of Online Businesses in Morocco: 10 Cities Concerned
The Moroccan government has announced a measure that could revolutionize the business world. Ten commercial courts, in as many cities, will now allow the creation of businesses entirely electronically. This system, launched after the adoption of Decree No. 2.22.92, aims to simplify the lives of entrepreneurs.
The list of affected cities includes Rabat, Casablanca, Fez, Oujda, Tangier, Marrakech, Béni Mellal, Agadir, Laâyoune and Dakhla. From metropolises to more distant cities, all are ready to welcome this new system. Entrepreneurs will no longer have to run from one office to another. Everything will be accessible with a single click.
This decision comes seven months after the government approved the decree, in application of Law No. 88.17. The objective? Reduce delays and bureaucracy. From now on, professionals will be able to create, modify and manage their business via a dedicated digital platform.
It’s not just about making it easier to start businesses. The decree also provides procedures for post-creation changes, such as requesting certificates or extracts from legal acts. In short, everything is designed for rapid and paperwork-free management.
However, one question arises: data security. The government assures that strict measures have been put in place. Each user will have to go through secure identification. A personal account protected by a confidential code will be required to access the platform.
This initiative could be a game-changer for many Moroccan entrepreneurs, allowing them to concentrate on the essential: developing their projects. For the authorities, it is a giant step towards the modernization of the country, with a system that promises to save time and energy for everyone.
Morocco, once slowed down by a sprawling bureaucracy, is entering an era where technology takes the reins of administrative procedures.
