Dari Couspate: increase in turnover of 8.35% at the end of September 2023

Casablanca – The turnover (CA) of the company Dari Couspate stood at 602.01 million dirhams (MDH) during the first nine months of this year, an increase of 8.35% compared to the same period one year ago.

This development was mainly driven by an increase in volume and a variation in the sale of goods as is, explains the company specializing in the production and marketing of food products based on semolina.

For the third quarter of 2023 alone, turnover fell by 5.74% to MAD 174.05 million, specifies the same source.

Concerning debt, the company reports a drop in leasing commitments in Q3-2023 compared to the same period of 2022 to go from 48.8 MDH to 34.9 MDH, indicating that no no other financing debt was contracted during Q3-2023.

Furthermore, the outlook remains marked by uncertainties which weigh on the evolution of household consumption levels as well as on the evolution of durum wheat prices. These suffered a significant increase in Q3-2023 due to a drop in durum wheat production in Canada, the world’s largest producer.

However, Dari Couspate’s management ensures its full mobilization to limit the unfavorable impact of this exceptional situation on its activity, and to continue its projects aimed at improving its operational efficiency and the development of its activities.
