Disappearance of Lina: “We are afraid it will start again”, the anguish of parents while the shadow of a kidnapper hangs over the town

An investigation has been opened for kidnapping or confinement lasting more than 7 days.

Where is Lina? The 15-year-old girl vanished into thin air on Saturday September 23 in Plaine, Bas-Rhin. According to the Schirmeck gendarmerie brigade, the young girl left her home on foot around 11:15 a.m. to reach the Saint-Blaise-La-Roche station, located approximately 3 kilometers from her home. There, she had to take the train to join her boyfriend in Strabsourg. But she never made it to the station. Indeed, according to the Saverne public prosecutor’s office, the young girl did not even “get on a train”.

Tuesday, September 26, the Saverne public prosecutor provided an update on the investigation. “Two witnesses saw Lina on the way to the station between 11:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. She was walking. (…) His phone, which was not found, stopped transmitting at 11:22 a.m. (…) On her route, no trace on the roadway or the shoulder was observed at this time suggesting the occurrence of a road accident of which she was the victim,” indicated Aline Clérot, who added that No leads were ruled out at this stage.

If the police try to find the teenager, along with other parents in the town, the anguish for the children begins to be felt. “Before, I let my children come home from the station alone. They have about three kilometers to get home. And ever since, we’ve been trying to get them back, coming home early from work to bring them back by car. We are afraid it will start again. I put myself in the place of this mother who is going through real hell and I think that I am not capable of supporting that,” Sabrina confides to our colleagues at RMC.

“The fact that there were men in white outfits who searched cars, in several houses… I tell myself that it could be close to where I live. As soon as we go out, we are a little wary of the people we meet. We try to analyze a little bit of everything,” Gwen tells our colleagues.

The investigation into Lina’s disappearance took a new turn with the opening of a judicial investigation for “kidnapping and sequestration of more than seven days” announced the public prosecutors of Strasbourg and Saverne this Sunday, October 1. It has been eight days since we have had any news from this 15-year-old girl, despite all the means deployed to find her.
