Disturbing disappearance of Lina: four road cameras were seized by investigators in the hope of seeing the young teenager

The cameras were located in three Vosges passes and in the Schirmeck tunnel.

Will these new seizures help advance the investigation? According to RTL information, four road cameras were seized in connection with the disappearance of Lina, 15, on Saturday September 23 in Plaine, Bas-Rhin. She gave no further sign of life after leaving home to take the train and join her boyfriend in Strasbourg.

According to our colleagues, the cameras which were seized were located on three Vosges passes and in the Schirmeck tunnel. These are the main exits from the Bruche valley, in Bas-Rhin.

Regarding the Hantz Pass, it is located only 6 kilometers from Lina’s disappearance. The camera present on site allows, in normal times, to monitor the snow cover on the road and the cars heading towards the Vosges. For the Saales and Donon passes, it is the same type of camera. While that of the Schirmeck tunnel, it allows the passages towards Strasbourg to be filmed.

From now on, all hopes are focused on its cameras which will, or not, allow us to see the silhouette of the young teenager. And for good reason, at the end of October, investigators had hoped to obtain initial answers thanks to images from a camera present on the RD 350, a road that young Lina should have taken. Problem, the owner had deleted the images before his disappearance was known “to make space on his hard drive”.
