Government Council to Convene on Thursday

Rabat – A government council meeting will be held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch, according to a press release from his department.

At the start of its proceedings, the council will examine three draft decrees, the first of which concerns the “Pioneer Schools” label and the second amends and supplements the decree he decree granting additional remuneration to teacher-researchers in faculties of medicine and pharmacy and faculties of dentistry, states the press release.

The third decree concerns the implementation of the law enacting special measures relating to the direct marketing of fruit and vegetables produced within the framework of agricultural aggregation, the same source added.

The Council will conclude its work by examining proposals for appointments to higher office, in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution.
