Hajj 1446 H: Here is the date of the draw

The Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs informs citizens who have submitted an application to register to perform the pilgrimage for the year 1446 AH that the draw to determine the final lists will take place from Monday 8 to Friday 19 July 2024.

The draw will take place at the level of the caïdats and provinces of the Kingdom for the list of candidates supervised by the ministry and at the level of the prefectures for the list of candidates supervised by travel agencies, the ministry indicates in a press release.

The final list of selected pilgrims will be revealed immediately at the end of these operations for both lists, as well as the waiting list for a possible replacement of those who have withdrawn, the press release concludes.

The Selection Process for Hajj 1446 H

The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs announced that citizens who have submitted an application to participate in the pilgrimage of the year 1446 AH will be subject to a draw to finalize the lists of pilgrims. This operation, crucial for many Moroccan Muslims, will take place over a period of ten days, from Monday, July 8 to Friday, July 19, 2024.

The management of this process will be twofold: candidates supervised by the ministry will be selected at the level of the caïdats and provinces, while those supervised by travel agencies will be managed at the level of the prefectures. This method guarantees a fair and transparent distribution of places available for the Hajj.

Results and Waiting Lists

Once the draw is complete, the results will be published immediately, allowing candidates to know their status. The final lists of pilgrims will be accompanied by waiting lists, ready to fill any cancellations.
