Rabat – His Majesty King Mohammed VI received a congratulatory message from the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Joko Widodo, on the occasion of Independence Day.

In this message, the Indonesian President expresses his warm congratulations to His Majesty the King, the Moroccan government and people, as well as his best wishes for health, happiness and permanent success to the Sovereign and prosperity to the Kingdom of Morocco.

“Indonesia and Morocco have developed strong economic and socio-cultural cooperation since the establishment of diplomatic relations – between the two countries – in 1960”, he rejoiced, reiterating his commitment to further strengthen bilateral cooperation , for a future of shared prosperity and lasting peace for both nations.

The President of the Republic of Indonesia expressed his wish that “this important milestone will not only be an opportunity to celebrate the history of Morocco, but also to mark the beginning of a new era of development”.
