Located in the municipality of Benguerir, in the very heart of the Green City, Mohammed VI Polytechnic University aspires to leave its mark nationally, continentally, and globally.Position:As a research assistant, you will play an important role within the Center of Excellence “Leading Transformations in Africa” by providing your support for the implementation of research projects aimed at supporting sustainable dynamics of complex transformation in Africa. You will work in close collaboration with the principal researchers of the projects, and will contribute collecting, analyzing and communicating research results. Responsibilities:
Interviews and Focus Groups: Contribute to the organization and conduct interviews and focus groups for data collection. Transcription and encoding: Convert collected testimonies into structured data, ready for the analysis phase. Document management: Organize the physical and/or digital conservation of information collected, transcribed and converted into data. Data Analysis: Process and analyze collected data, and contribute to the formulation of interpretations and conclusions. Writing support: Assist in the writing of research reports, scientific articles and other relevant documents. Collaboration with the Research Team: Work closely with principal investigators and other members of the research team and participate in regular meetings to discuss research progress, challenges and opportunities.
Profile sought: Required skills:
University degree in social sciences, economics, management or a related field. Mastery of Arabic, French and English languages. Amazigh is a plus. Prior experience collecting, structuring and analyzing research data. Skills in tools and processing of qualitative and quantitative data. Comfortable with field work. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team
