Rabat – His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences and compassion to the President of the Republic of Italy, Sergio Mattarella, following the death of former president Giorgio Napolitano.

In this message, HM the King states that he learned with deep emotion the news of the death of the former President of the Republic of Italy, Giorgio Napolitano.

In this sad circumstance, the Sovereign expresses to Mr. Mattarella and, through him, to the family of the deceased and to the friendly Italian people, His deep condolences and His sincere feelings of compassion following the death of a Statesman who contributed with dedication and loyalty to the progress and development of his country.
