Santiago – Morocco, under the enlightened leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, is a moderating force in international relations through its active contribution to the promotion of multilateralism, stressed the former Chilean Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mariano Fernandez.
“From Latin America, we can see that Morocco plays a major diplomatic role and is a factor of moderation in international relations,” Fernandez told MAP on the occasion of the celebration of the glorious Throne Day.
Morocco is known for its “active role in international relations and contributes significantly to the promotion of multilateralism and international cooperation,” he added.
On the economic front, Fernandez noted that the Kingdom had achieved remarkable growth, attributable in particular to all-out modernisation and the emergence of growth sectors linked to new technologies.
He also commended the “significant progress” made by Morocco in the field of human development, noting that indicators in this area “have improved tangibly” in recent years.
