Narbonne: a minor apartment fire mobilizes the firefighters on avenue Leclerc

Since 11 a.m. this Friday, November 3, 4 vehicles from the Narbonne fire brigade have been mobilized for an apartment fire on avenue du Général Leclerc.

The fire started from the kitchen of the accommodation. A utensil was left on a hob by the occupants of the accommodation. Who were not on site when the object in question ignited and set the room on fire, causing a significant release of smoke.

The fire was quickly brought under control and there were no casualties. Firefighters carried out reconnaissance in the building which, around midday, was subject to “natural” ventilation in order to evacuate the last of the smoke. A maneuver favored by today’s stormy wind.
