The town of Oulad Teima was the scene of a violent incident involving a police officer from the judicial brigade reporting to the town’s national security police station. This happened near a café in the Mouissats district.
The Attack and Police Intervention
Informed sources reported that the incident took place in broad daylight on a public highway when police intervened to apprehend a suspect who was the subject of a search warrant. The latter was walking in the neighborhood in question. However, police were met with violent resistance, with the individual using two swords, resulting in various injuries to a police officer’s face, including loss of teeth. In response, the police officer used his firearm to neutralize the threat, hitting the suspect with two bullets in the leg.
Transfer to Hospital and Legal Procedures
Following this incident, the injured were transported to the local Oulad Teima hospital to receive the necessary treatment. Judicial measures were taken, placing the suspect under judicial control. At the same time, an investigation was opened to examine the circumstances surrounding the attack and the details of the incident.
