Pyrénées-Orientales: a fire breaks out in an apartment, a father and his daughter evacuated after inhaling smoke

The events occurred in Millas, during the night from Friday to Saturday.

A fire broke out in an apartment in Millas (Pyrénées-Orientales) last night. These two occupants, a 35-year-old man and his 7-year-old daughter, were evacuated to the Perpignan hospital center after inhaling smoke.

The fire started from the ground floor of this two-story building, causing damage to their accommodation. They will therefore have to be rehoused. The intervention mobilized around twenty firefighters.
