Road tragedy: Fatal collision between a truck and a taxi, several victims

A terrible road accident took place today, Saturday March 30, on the road linking the town of Ben Slimane to Mohammedia, causing several victims. According to local media, four people lost their lives and three others were injured, some seriously.

The Circumstances of the Accident

Details reveal that a large truck (trailer) and a first class taxi (grand taxi) collided, resulting in the death of two women and two elderly men. Two other people were seriously injured and were quickly transported to the intensive care unit of the Ben Slimane regional hospital.

Emergency Interventions

Immediately after the accident, Royal Gendarmerie forces and local authorities responded to the scene. Under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, an investigation was opened to determine the exact circumstances of the accident. The bodies of the victims were taken to the morgue for autopsy.
