School Holidays & Ramadan Morocco: The ADM made an important announcement

The school holidays are here, and with them, the desire to go on a getaway. Autoroutes du Maroc (ADM) would like to remind its users of some essential recommendations for safe travel.

Travel planning

ADM strongly recommends that all travelers plan their trips in advance. During this period, the motorway network will be heavily used, especially on Friday March 8 from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday March 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Sunday March 17 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., the return day from school holidays.

Using the ADM TRAFIC application

To avoid traffic jams and unpleasant surprises, it is advisable to download the ADM TRAFIC application. This application allows you to consult the traffic status in real time and thus anticipate possible slowdowns.

Weather vigilance

Weather conditions can change quickly, especially during this transition period. ADM recommends remaining attentive to weather alerts and exercising vigilance in the event of gusty winds, rain or fog.

Safety on the road

During the trip, it is important to take breaks every two hours in order to stay focused. It is also crucial to regularly check the condition of the tires and not to use the Emergency Stop Lane unless absolutely necessary. Also make sure your Jawaz Pass is sufficiently charged before taking the highway.

Adaptation to visibility

In case of adverse weather conditions, such as fog or heavy precipitation, reduce your speed, maintain a sufficient safety distance and turn on the necessary lights, even in broad daylight.

For any assistance or additional information, do not hesitate to contact the dedicated number, 5050, made available by ADM.

By following these simple but essential recommendations, you can enjoy your vacation safely. Have a good trip !
