The HCP and “Statistics Denmark” hold a follow-up meeting on their cooperation

The High Commission for Planning (HCP) and the Danish Statistical Office “Statistics Denmark” (SD) recently held a meeting in Rabat to take stock of the progress made within the framework of their cooperation project.

During this meeting, which was attended by a delegation of senior officials from the two institutions, the two parties shed light in particular on the success of the process of digitalization of the HCP’s product and service lines, initiated in 2019, indicates the HCP in a press release.

The two institutions also welcomed the results of their collaboration, in particular the establishment of a data management center, the use of the web collection method for surveys among companies, the establishment of a statistical directory companies and the redesign of the HCP website.

And to note that other project activities are continuing to complete the use of administrative registers for statistical purposes and optimize interinstitutional collaboration in Morocco to develop the water satellite account.

Welcoming the exemplary nature of their partnership, the two institutions expressed the desire and interest to extend the framework for a second phase, particularly devoted to strategic areas such as the green economy, the digital economy and modeling, thus strengthening their commitment to contributing to sustainable economic development and the improvement of statistics in Morocco, underlines the press release.
