Weather for September 18: Hail and Wind Gusts in Several Regions

The General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) predicts a Wednesday, September 18, marked by contrasting weather phenomena across Morocco. Several regions will face thunderstorms accompanied by hail and strong winds, while others will experience a slight rise in temperatures.

Thunderstorms are expected in the High Atlas and the interior of the Saharan provinces. These areas could also see gusts of wind and hail. The Rif, Anti-Atlas and Middle Atlas will not be left out, with scattered thunderstorms, also affecting the north of the southern provinces.

The rest of the country should enjoy partly to cloudy skies, with foggy formations in the morning and night on the northern and central Atlantic coasts.

On the coasts, the sea will be calm to rough, with calm conditions in the Mediterranean and around the Strait of Gibraltar.
