Why did Charlie Kirk not have an exit wound? TPUSA spokesperson calls it ‘another miracle’

Charlie Kirk’s assassination has left many asking questions, even as Tyler Robinson has been arrested by authorities as the suspect and charged with murder. One question regarding the fatal shooting of the Turning Point USA founder has been the apparent lack of an exit wound.

Several videos circulated on X tried to make this point, and now Andrew Kolvet, a spokesperson for Kirk’s TPUSA has explained what happened.

Kirk, 31, was fatally shot when attending an event at the Utah Valley University in Orem, on September 10. Video of the incident showed the conservative political activist sitting in a tent when the bullet hit his neck.

Why Charlie Kirk does not have an exit wound

The TPUSA spokesperson, on X, explained why Kirk does not have an exit wound.

“I want to address some of the discussion about the lack of an exit wound with Charlie. I’m usually not interested in delving into most of this kind of online chatter, and I apologize this is somewhat graphic, but in this case, the fact that there wasn’t an exit wound is probably another miracle, and I want people to know,” he said.

The spokesperson shared that they’d spoken to the surgeon at the hospital, who had worked on Charlie.

As per the surgeon, “the bullet absolutely should have gone through, which is very very normal for a high powered, high velocity round,” Kolvet shared. He said that the surgeon further added, “I’ve seen wounds from this caliber many times and they always just go through everything. This would have taken a moose or two down, an elk, etc.”

However, Charlie Kirk’s body apparently stopped the bullet. Kolvet noted that he’d told the doctor that there were many people directly behind Kirk on the other side of the tent. The doctor, then, said that it was a ‘miracle’ no one else was killed, the spokesperson shared.

“His bone was so healthy and the density was so so impressive that he’s like the man of steel. It should have just gone through and through. It likely would have killed those standing behind him too,” he said quoting the doctor.

The coroner found the bullet just beneath his skin.

“Even in death, Charlie managed to save the lives of those around him,” Kolvet remarked, noting it was nothing short of ‘remarkable’.

Kolvet’s news of Kirk’s ‘miracle’ comes right after the Archbishop of New York compared the slain political commentator to St Paul, leading to many of Kirk’s supporters speaking about a possible sainthood. Sainthood requires a show of two miracles, as per the rules.

Meanwhile, several high profile US government officials including President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance are slated to attend the memorial event that’ll be held for Kirk at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on September 21.
