Yango expands to Morocco: new cities, new routes

The international transport service platform Yango, belonging to the global technology company “Yango”, has just announced its expansion in Morocco by adding Rabat and Tangier to its list of cities served. This now brings to three the number of Moroccan cities where the application is available, after entering the market in 2022, in the city of Casablanca.

New cities, new advantages

Starting this month, residents of Rabat and Tangier will be able to download the Yango application to organize their journeys. The company specified that prices for a ride start from 9 dirhams. Additionally, to celebrate this launch, Yango is offering a special offer: up to 20% off the first three rides for new users.

This development demonstrates Yango’s ambition to establish itself as a key player in the field of transport in Morocco, with the aim of offering a service that is both accessible and quality to the inhabitants of the two new cities.

Yango’s President of Operations for MENA and Africa, Shashi Shekhar Singh, expressed the company’s keenness to strengthen its local partnerships to offer safe and affordable transport solutions.

Unlike other similar services, Yango relies on advanced technologies, including mapping, guidance and intelligent request management. These technologies not only reduce the cost of trips, but also reduce the waiting time between two trips for drivers, which optimizes the experience for both users and drivers.

More comfort and safety for passengers

In addition to competitive prices, Yango highlights features designed to facilitate and secure the use of its application. Users can request a ride without having to negotiate fares or share the vehicle with other passengers. To enhance safety, the app also allows you to share the journey live with family members and includes an option for direct contact with emergency services if necessary.
