32nd AMAN General Assembly in Palermo: MAP and Anadolu Agency agree to consolidate their cooperation – Media7

Palermo – The Director General of the Maghreb Arab Press Agency (MAP), Fouad Arif, and the CEO of the Turkish Anadolu Agency (AA), Serdar Karagöz, examined in Palermo (Italy) ways to consolidate the cooperative relations between the two agencies.

The two officials held discussions on this subject, on the sidelines of the 32nd General Assembly of the Alliance of Mediterranean Press Agencies (AMAN), held on June 5 and 6 in Palermo.

This meeting was an opportunity to focus in particular on the exchange of information and photos between the two press agencies.

The two parties also agreed to strengthen the exchange of experiences and expertise, through the organization of visits and training courses for journalists, executives, technicians and IT professionals from the two agencies.

MM. Arif and Karagöz agreed, in this regard, to renew the partnership agreement linking the two agencies, by shortly signing a new agreement in this regard in Rabat.

The CEO of MAP took part in the work of the 32nd General Assembly of AMAN, alongside the directors general and representatives of the Alliance’s member press agencies.

This Assembly was marked by a conference on the theme “Energy and tourism for sustainable development in the Mediterranean”, the opportunity for participants to highlight the contribution of AMAN member press agencies in promoting this theme. .
