Air transport: RAM relaunches its direct line Casablanca – Sao Paulo on December 7 – Media7

Royal Air Maroc (RAM) announced on Friday the relaunch of its direct Casablanca – Sao Paulo air route from December 7, 2024, with three weekly frequencies.

Flights will be scheduled to depart from Casablanca on Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 4:40 p.m. (local time) for an arrival in Sao Paulo at 10:20 p.m. (local time). The return flights will leave Sao Paulo on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday at 12:20 a.m. (local time) for a landing in Casablanca at 1:15 p.m., the company specifies in a press release.

The direct flights will be operated by Boeing 787 Dreamliners, new generation aircraft, offering the highest level of comfort and safety, while promoting a reduced carbon footprint.

“We are very happy to resume the direct Casablanca – Sao Paulo air route suspended since the health crisis. It is part of our development plan and will strengthen our long-haul network and above all mark our return to the continent of Latin America,” declared the president of RAM, Hamid Addou, quoted by the press release.

And added: “This line will facilitate the travel of tourists and businessmen from both continents, while meeting the expectations of European tourists wishing to plan combined trips in Africa and Latin America”.

The reopening of this line, connecting the economic and financial capitals of the two countries, responds to the growing demand from businessmen and tourists on both sides of the Atlantic.

It will help to strengthen ties between Morocco and Brazil, long-standing partners whose diplomatic and economic relations have been consolidated in recent years.

The relaunch of this service is also part of the mobilization of the National Company to support the Kingdom’s major projects, including in particular the major global sporting event which will be organized by Morocco, Spain and Portugal in occurrence of the 2030 FIFA World Cup.

Brazilians, great football fans, will be able to travel easily and in the best conditions of comfort with Royal Air Maroc, between Sao Paulo and the three organizing countries of the World Cup, via the company’s hub in Casablanca.

Furthermore, the company informs travelers that flights will be available for sale from June 12, on its website “www.royalairmaroc.com”, via its call centers as well as in its commercial agencies and on the network. travel agencies.
