Visa Scandal in Nador: Explosive Revelations on a Fraudulent Practice at the Spanish Consulate

An investigation reveals alarming details of what is now known as the “Visa Mafia” operating at the Spanish consulate in Nador, Morocco. According to reliable sources, Spanish employees and Moroccan officials are involved in this affair, which is shaking authorities on both sides of the Mediterranean.
The first investigations, carried out by the competent authorities, highlighted the alleged complicity of certain consulate employees as well as local officials in this fraudulent practice. Falsified documents, although bearing official seals, were discovered during the searches.
According to Iberian media, Moroccan citizens seeking visas find themselves caught in a network where the payment of large sums is required to obtain a simple appointment. Entire families face exorbitant financial demands, regardless of the outcome of their visa application.
The Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has admitted to having received alarming reports on the functioning of the company responsible for managing appointments in several consulates. A senior official said loopholes in the system were exploited, making it virtually impossible to get an appointment without the use of intermediaries.
On the Moroccan side, investigations revealed the presence of at least four individuals linked to the Spanish consulate, as well as influential local figures, all accused of having facilitated the fraudulent obtaining of visas by presenting false documents.
This shocking revelation raises questions about the integrity of consular processes and highlights vulnerabilities in the current system. The Spanish and Moroccan authorities have been questioned, and measures are expected to restore public confidence and guarantee transparency in the issuance of visas.
