BREAKING: Sevilla are the UFEA Europa League Champions

Sevilla Claims Seventh Europa League Title, Spoiling Jose Mourinho's Flawless Record

Sevilla emerged victorious in the UEFA Europa League final held in Budapest, securing their fifth championship in the past decade. They triumphed over AS Roma in a dramatic penalty shootout.

The Spanish team displayed resilience at the Puskas Arena, bouncing back from a 55th-minute own goal by Gianluca Mancini, which nullified Paulo Dybala’s first-half opener.

After an intense 120 minutes of gameplay resulting in a 1-1 tie, the final outcome was determined through a nerve-wracking round of penalty kicks.

Sevilla emerged triumphant with a score of 4-1, as Mancini and Roger Ibanez failed to convert their spot-kicks.

With this victory, Sevilla has now claimed the tournament title a remarkable seven times. It is worth noting that two of their previous triumphs came when the competition was known as the UEFA Cup, prior to its rebranding in 2009.
