Situated high in the Rif Mountains, the city’s blue buildings give it a uniform appearance so photogenic that many travel bloggers and Instagram users have taken a liking to the eccentric spot, the newspaper describes in an article. under the title “the beautiful city among the best in the world where almost all the houses are painted blue”.

Considered a predominantly rural region, Chefchaouen was previously a magnet for backpackers, but travel reviews now say its popularity is starting to soar with more mainstream tourists, notes the big draw.
