Ensure effective management of flight operations, including planning, schedule coordination and resolution of operational issues in real time Lead and mentor operational team members, including pilots, flight attendants and staff on the ground, ensuring that roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and respected Ensure strict compliance with aviation safety standards and applicable government regulations, by implementing rigorous safety procedures and supervising the pre-flight and post-flight inspections Be prepared to handle emergency situations or in-flight incidents, coordinating responses with ground teams and making quick, informed decisions to ensure the safety of passengers and aircraft crew Ensure clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including crew, ground staff, regulatory authorities and passengers, providing regular updates on the status of operations and responding to concerns or to questions Manage the material and human resources required for flight operations, ensuring that equipment is properly maintained and personnel are trained and competent to perform their duties Maintain accurate records of flight operations, incidents, delays and other relevant events, preparing detailed reports for management and regulators.
Profile sought for the position: Flight Supervisor – Nouaceur
Minimum Bac+2 diploma in aviation, flight operations management, aerospace engineering “B” driving license is mandatory Additional training in aviation safety management and leadership is a plus Previous experience as a Flight Supervisor Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, make difficult decisions in stressful situations and maintain cohesion and discipline Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure and in emergency situations Excellent written and verbal communication skills A thorough understanding of industry regulations civil aviation, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety practices are essential Proficiency in software and tools used in planning and managing flight operations, as well as a thorough understanding of aircraft systems.
