The Italian authorities expelled this Thursday, September 28, a Moroccan migrant residing illegally in Italy due to his repeated criminal actions.
Immediate expulsion
Italian media reported that the expulsion was carried out urgently on the same day of his arrest. Once his identity was confirmed by the local immigration office, an administrative expulsion order was issued, confirmed by a judge. The expulsion was immediately carried out, leading the migrant to leave Milan airport for Casablanca.
Acts of vandalism
According to the same sources, the migrant had recently been involved in an attack on a train station in the town of Treviglio. He had thrown stones at the station windows, causing a long interruption of train traffic.
Illegal stay and criminal history
The media also highlighted that the migrant had stayed in Italy illegally for a long time. Additionally, he had a criminal record that included several crimes related to drug trafficking and resisting a law enforcement officer, which had resulted in several of his prior arrests.
This expulsion is part of the ongoing efforts of the Italian authorities to combat illegal immigration and criminal behavior on their territory.
